Andrew and Tristan Tate, who are currently in Miami federal custody fighting extradition to the United Kingdom on numerous charges, have complained about the quantity of snacks they have received and reported weight loss. A handwritten note from Tristan Tate, shared by their lawyer Joe McBride on X, formerly Twitter, stated that the brothers had "14 snack items in the past 32 days between two big men."

"I am hungry," Tristan Tate wrote in the note, dated August 19. He also claimed to have lost 13 pounds, while his brother Andrew had lost 8 pounds. McBride alleged that the government is lying about the brothers having normal commissary access, stating they have only been given access once in 32 days.

Andrew Tate, 39, faces dozens of charges in the UK, including multiple counts of rape, human trafficking, and assault. He was also recently charged in Britain with offenses related to indecent images of children and extreme pornography. Tristan Tate, 38, faces charges including sexual assault, rape, and sex trafficking.

The brothers were arrested in Miami on July 18 and have remained in custody as they contest extradition to Britain. They were living in Romania since 2016, where they are also involved in a separate criminal investigation for allegations including human trafficking, rape, forming an organized criminal group, and money laundering.

Their legal team recently admitted in a court filing that their public displays of wealth, such as expensive cars and a yacht, were performances designed to generate views and income online, stating, "In short, they are playing a role."
