Brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested in Miami and are facing possible extradition to the United Kingdom, where they have been charged with an expanded list of offenses including rape and sex trafficking. The brothers deny all charges.
The new charges, announced by the Crown Prosecution Service, stem from investigations into alleged offenses occurring between July 2010 and August 2017 involving four alleged victims. These additions bring the total number of charges against the brothers in the U.K. to 59.
Andrew Tate, 39, faces seven counts of rape, three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and 19 charges related to indecent images of children and "extreme pornography." Tristan Tate, 38, has been charged with one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape, and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation.
These accusations are in addition to previous charges the brothers face in the U.K. for rape and other crimes. Their legal representative, Scott McBride, stated, "Andrew and Tristan Tate will walk free. America does not do Britain's political dirty work. Not here. Never."
