Fitness influencer Tammy Hembrow has described Los Angeles as "a bit of a dark place" with "some dark people" during a recent candid appearance. Her remarks came as she addressed questions about her much-discussed collapse at Kylie Jenner's 21st birthday party in 2018.
Hembrow made headlines when she was photographed being carried out of the West Hollywood venue on a stretcher. Speaking on the Outspoken Podcast, she expressed reluctance to delve into the specifics of the incident, stating, "I don't wanna get messy." When pressed, she initially struggled to articulate her thoughts before sharing her negative perception of the city. "Hence why I haven't been back there for a hot minute," she added.
During the podcast, the topic of whether she believed she had been drugged was raised. Hembrow responded, "I think I was," but did not elaborate further on the exchange. Friends recalling the event expressed surprise, noting Hembrow's reputation for being able to "f***ing party."
Previously, Hembrow has spoken about the incident, telling Stellar magazine it was a "very dark time" and a low point in her life. In her initial explanation following the party, she attributed her collapse to severe sleep deprivation and feeling unwell before consuming alcohol, stating she "definitely shouldn't have been drinking because of how jet-lagged and exhausted I was."

The influencer also addressed speculation about her financial situation following reports that she had listed her mansion for sale. Hembrow confirmed the sale, explaining that she had been planning to move for some time and desired more land, space for her children, and a larger yard for a playground. When directly asked if she was "poor," she responded with a firm "No."
Hembrow also discussed the closure of her activewear label, Saski. She described the decision as a relief and the "best thing" she did career-wise, though she acknowledged feeling she should have ended the business sooner. The demands of running the company, compounded by her divorce, became overwhelming, she said.

Personal questions continued with speculation about pregnancy. When asked directly, Hembrow immediately denied the rumors, stating, "Definitely not pregnant," and offered to provide proof, prompting reactions from the audience.
