Australian socialites, including former politician Julie Bishop, gathered for the four-day celebration of the designer and her billionaire beau.
Designer Tamara Ralph, known for dressing stars like Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, married Anglo-Indian billionaire Bhanu Choudhrie in a lavish four-day wedding ceremony on the French Riviera.
The celebration took place at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc on the Cap d'Antibes, drawing a contingent of Australian high society figures.
Among the notable guests was former Australian politician Julie Bishop, who shared photos of her four distinct outfits for the event, sourced from designers Leo Lin, Meraki, and Alice + Olivia. Bishop described the wedding as "a magical wedding for the ages," noting that Ralph and Choudhrie were "surrounded by family, friends, fantasy - and flowers."
Bishop documented moments from the festivities, including elaborate floral arrangements and posed photos with her boyfriend Stephen Gray. The event's altar was adorned with hundreds of white and blush pink roses.
Other attendees included Melbourne-based breast cancer surgeon Dr. Chantel Thornton and her husband Srecko Lorbek, executive chairman of Lorbek Luxury Cars. Elizabeth Donald, a singer and socialite from Melbourne now based in Dubai, also attended, sharing details of the reception dinner which featured traditional Indian cuisine.
Sydney nurse Samantha Brescia, known in social circles as a friend of PR maven Roxy Jacenko and wife of property tycoon Moreno Brescia, was also present.
International guests included German jewelry designer Sabine Roemer, who served as the maid of honor, and Finnish swimwear designer Laura Vippula. Pop star Ellie Goulding reportedly performed at the wedding.
Ralph, co-founder of the luxury fashion house Ralph & Russo, which dressed clients such as Angelina Jolie and Meghan Markle, launched her solo venture in 2023 after the original company went into administration in 2021. Her designs have recently been worn by Taylor Swift for the MTV Video Music Awards. Ralph and Choudhrie reside in the south of France and have two daughters.
