Torki Alomare, who moved to the UK nine years ago under the Syrian Resettlement scheme, stated that his family left their home on Monday due to safety concerns after the incident. CCTV footage shows several individuals throwing large stones that destroyed a window before fleeing the scene.
Alomare reported that his wife was severely distressed during the attack, and his children sustained injuries. He described the event as having "destroyed" his life, preventing him from going to work and halting his daily activities. His parents, who also live nearby, were reportedly too afraid to remain in their own home.
Police are currently investigating the incident, described as racially motivated, and have appealed for witnesses or anyone with video footage to come forward. The investigation is ongoing.
