Sydney Sweeney Considering Judaism as Relationship with Scooter Braun Deepens

Actress Sydney Sweeney is reportedly exploring conversion to Judaism as her relationship with music executive Scooter Braun progresses. Sources close to the couple indicate that they are discussing marriage and the possibility of starting a family, a development that has prompted Sweeney to consider a formal conversion.

A source told Page Six that Sweeney has met with two rabbis regarding the conversion process. This practice typically involves rigorous study and can take anywhere from one to four years to complete.

Sweeney and Braun were recently observed attending Rosh Hashanah services together at Temple Sholom in Greenwich, Connecticut. An attendee noted their presence at the synagogue, which counts several notable figures among its congregants.

Braun has previously expressed strong feelings about their relationship. In a birthday tribute on September 12, he referred to Sweeney as "the person who surprised me and showed me how life with true partnership can be lived." He also wrote, "You make me smile harder, laugh louder, adventure more, and dream bigger. You’ve made the ordinary feel exciting and the future feel like something I can’t wait to get to."

Earlier reports indicated that Braun is planning to propose to Sweeney within the next six months. Sources have also suggested that Braun views Sweeney as a "modern Marilyn Monroe," drawing a parallel to Monroe's conversion to Judaism after marrying playwright Arthur Miller.

The couple has been frequently seen together, recently taking a vacation to Lake Powell, Utah, and previously traveling to Venice, Italy, and New Zealand. Representatives for Sweeney and Braun could not be reached for comment.
