Sydney Sweeney Channels Macaulay Culkin in 'Home Alone'-Themed Holiday Campaign
The actress recreated iconic scenes from the 1990 film for her Syrn Holiday Shop.
Sydney Sweeney is embracing the holiday spirit early with a campaign that pays homage to the classic film "Home Alone."
The actress launched the Syrn Holiday Shop with a video that recreates memorable moments from the 1990 movie, channeling Macaulay Culkin's iconic performance.
In the campaign video, Sweeney is seen impersonating Culkin's character, Kevin McCallister. She begins by mimicking the famous scene where Kevin shaves his face, applying shaving cream and then dramatically screaming after splashing on after-shave. This visual directly references the poster image for the film.
The video continues to feature Sweeney holding a poodle and reacting to people knocking at the door, mirroring other key sequences from "Home Alone." The campaign culminates with Sweeney sitting in a leather chair, eating ice cream in front of a television, another nod to the film's plot.
Earlier in the week, Sweeney announced the launch of the seasonal collection, which also includes inspirations from "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," "Corpse Bride," and "White Christmas." The Holiday Shop will roll out in four separate installments, with "Comfy" being the first, featuring the "Home Alone" theme. Subsequent collections will be themed "Seductress," "Playful," and "Romantic."
