Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun Spotted Together on "The Housemaid 2" Set
The couple shared a public display of affection while filming in New Jersey, amidst reports of Sweeney considering religious conversion.
Sydney Sweeney and her boyfriend Scooter Braun were seen together on the set of her upcoming movie, "The Housemaid 2," in Hoboken, New Jersey, on Thursday. The actress, 29, and the former talent manager, 45, appeared affectionate during the set visit.
Sweeney was dressed casually in a black sweatshirt and jeans, with her blonde hair cascading down her shoulders. Braun wore a brown canvas barn jacket and a red baseball cap. The pair were observed in a coffee shop setting where Sweeney had been filming scenes. Braun was also seen shaking hands with another individual present.
Sweeney filmed scenes alongside her new co-star, Stephen Kalyn, on Thursday. Her costume for the day included a gray-blue sweater that had fallen off her shoulders, revealing bra straps, paired with relaxed-fit jeans and a brown leather jacket. Kalyn was dressed in a purple cable knit sweater and burgundy trousers.
This visit comes after reports emerged earlier this month suggesting Sweeney is considering converting to Judaism, Braun's religion, as their relationship reportedly deepens. A source told Page Six that the couple has discussed having children, which has prompted Sweeney to explore conversion. Braun, who has three children from his previous marriage, reportedly feels strongly about starting a family with Sweeney.
Previously, Sweeney was reportedly seen attending Rosh Hashanah services with Braun. A source also claimed that Sweeney had met with two rabbis to discuss the conversion process, which can vary in length depending on the branch of Judaism.
"The Housemaid" (2025), in which Sweeney played Millie Calloway, a woman with a past, was a critical and commercial success, grossing over $400 million worldwide. The sequel, "The Housemaid's Secret," is expected to be released in 2027 and will reportedly see Millie working for a new woman and uncovering dark secrets.
In addition to Kalyn, the sequel features new cast members Kirsten Dunst, Brittany Snow, and Paul Anthony Kelly. Sweeney recently expressed enthusiasm for reprising her role, describing her character as a "fighter" who "knows what she believes in."
