Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun Spotted on NYC Date Night Amidst Filming and Personal Developments

Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun were seen holding hands during a date night in New York City on Thursday. Sweeney, 29, wore a stylish white co-ord ensemble featuring a fitted jacket with tan detailing, paired with straight-leg trousers and coordinated stilettos. She accessorized with sunglasses and earrings, her blonde hair styled in voluminous curls.

Braun, 45, complemented her outfit in white trousers and a navy shirt, with a brown wool blazer and suede shoes. The couple, who have been together for over a year, appeared affectionate as they walked hand-in-hand in the Upper West Side.

The date night followed a busy day for Sweeney on the set of her film, 'The Housemaid's Secret.' She was pictured on Park Avenue in Manhattan, portraying the character Millie Calloway, a live-in maid. Filming involved scenes of her character making phone calls and picking up flowers, champagne, and chocolates. At one point, she was seen in a leather bomber jacket over a striped jumper and jeans, smiling while petting a dog.

'The Housemaid' (2025) starred Sweeney as Millie Calloway, a woman who takes a job as a live-in maid after a prison sentence, only to uncover a sinister dynamic within the family. The film, directed by Paul Feig, was a critical and commercial success, grossing over $400 million worldwide. The sequel, 'The Housemaid's Secret,' reportedly follows Millie as she becomes a housekeeper for a woman she is forbidden to see, uncovering dark secrets.

Sweeney and Braun reportedly met in Italy during events for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding. Their relationship became public knowledge shortly after Sweeney ended her engagement to business leader Jonathan Davino. The couple made their first red carpet appearance together in September of the previous year at the Venice Film Festival.

Recent reports have also suggested that Sweeney is exploring a conversion to Judaism, Braun's religion. A source told Page Six that the actress began considering conversion after discussions about having a family with Braun. Braun, who shares three children with his ex-wife Yael Cohen, was reportedly the subject of discussions regarding their potential family plans. The publication also noted that Sweeney had previously been seen attending Rosh Hashanah services with Braun in Connecticut.
