Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun Seen on NYC Date Night Amid Reports of Religious Conversion
The actress and music executive were photographed holding hands in New York City, days after reports surfaced about Sweeney exploring Judaism.
Sydney Sweeney and her boyfriend, Scooter Braun, were seen enjoying a date night in New York City on Sunday. The couple, who have been together for over a year, were photographed walking hand-in-hand through Union Square before leaving a restaurant in the West Village.
Sweeney, 29, wore a black waistcoat minidress layered over a cream knit top, accessorized with sunglasses, heels, and a clutch bag. Braun, 45, opted for a casual look with a red baseball cap and brown trousers.
The couple first met in Italy last year during wedding events for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez. Three months prior to their meeting, Sweeney had ended her engagement to business leader Jonathan Davino. Sweeney and Braun made their first public appearance together in September of last year at the Venice Film Festival.
Recent reports suggest Sweeney has been exploring a conversion to Judaism, Braun's religion. A source told Page Six that the "Euphoria" star began considering the change after discussing the possibility of starting a family with Braun. Braun, a former talent manager, has three children with his ex-wife, Yael Cohen.
The publication previously reported that Sweeney had been seen attending Rosh Hashanah services with Braun. Sweeney was recently seen filming scenes for "The Housemaid's Secret," the sequel to the 2025 film "The Housemaid," in which she starred as Millie Calloway.
