Sydney Sweeney and Scooter Braun Reunite on 'The Housemaid 2' Set Amidst Relationship Milestones
The actress and her boyfriend were seen together on the film set, following reports of Sweeney exploring conversion to Judaism.
Sydney Sweeney, 29, and her boyfriend Scooter Braun, 45, shared a public display of affection on the set of Sweeney's upcoming film, "The Housemaid's Secret," in Hoboken, New Jersey. Braun visited the set on Thursday, the same day Sweeney filmed scenes with co-star Stephen Kalyn and a day after she worked on a passionate scene with Michele Morrone.
Sweeney, known for her role in "Euphoria," was dressed casually in a black sweatshirt, her blonde hair cascading down her shoulders. Braun sported a brown canvas barn jacket and a red baseball cap. The couple appeared to be catching up in a coffee shop setting used for filming.
Sweeney's costume for the day included a gray-blue sweater, relaxed-fit jeans, and a brown leather jacket. She was seen filming a conversation on the sidewalk with Kalyn, who wore a purple cable knit sweater and burgundy trousers. The film also features new additions Kirsten Dunst, Brittany Snow, and Paul Anthony Kelly.
The original film, "The Housemaid," released in 2025, starred Sweeney as Millie Calloway, a woman who takes a job as a live-in maid after a prison sentence and uncovers sinister family secrets. The thriller, directed by Paul Feig, was a commercial success, grossing over $400 million worldwide against a $35 million budget. "The Housemaid's Secret" is set to continue Millie's story, with the logline indicating she will become a housekeeper for a woman whose locked door conceals dark secrets.
Reports earlier this month suggested Sweeney is considering converting to Judaism, Braun's religion, as their relationship becomes more serious. According to a source, the couple has discussed having children together, a topic Braun feels strongly about. Braun shares three children with his ex-wife, Yael Cohen, to whom he was married from 2014 to 2022. Sweeney was reportedly seen attending Rosh Hashanah services with Braun and has met with rabbis to explore conversion, a process that can take up to five years depending on the branch of Judaism.
Sources have also indicated that Braun is considering proposing to Sweeney, with one claiming he is determined to marry her and sees her as "the modern Marilyn Monroe." Marilyn Monroe famously converted to Judaism after marrying playwright Arthur Miller in 1956.
