Swift and Kelce Enjoy Date Night Amid Ohio Mansion Dispute

Pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL tight end Travis Kelce held hands during a low-key date night in New York City on Friday. The outing comes as the couple is reportedly involved in a dispute with a neighbor over their $5.35 million mansion in Ohio.

Swift, 36, and Kelce, 37, were seen dining at Old Rose, a restaurant within The Jane Hotel, although sources note the eatery is listed as permanently closed on Yelp. The couple was also reportedly seen at the members' club San Vincente.

Swift wore a long-sleeved dark green shirt and olive green pants, paired with loafers and a small black purse. Her blonde hair was parted in the middle and fell past her shoulders. Kelce kept his attire casual in a cream-colored shirt and dark brown trousers. The pair were seen entering a black SUV after their dinner.

The dispute in Ohio involves a neighbor, Katherine Bolton, who has lived next to the couple's property for 35 years. Bolton has reportedly complained that the couple's plans to build a six-foot fence and plant towering trees around their mansion have been a "tremendous blow" to the "peace and quiet" of the Lake Erie village of Bratenahl. Neighbors have characterized Swift and Kelce as "absentee" owners.

Kelce, whose home state is Ohio, and Swift have been in the headlines for their public relationship. Swift recently released new music, including a track titled "Cleveland!" which appears to be a reference to Kelce's hometown.

Earlier in the week, Swift and Kelce celebrated Kelce's 37th birthday with an intimate dinner at the Italian restaurant Torrisi in New York City. Swift wore a black dress with a lace hem, black heels, and a leather jacket, while Kelce donned a black sweater and trousers.

Kelce has been active in the current NFL season, with his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, currently undefeated with four wins. Swift has been seen supporting him from the stands at Arrowhead Stadium.

Swift also recently made a surprise cameo on Saturday Night Live, appearing during host Dakota Johnson's opening monologue. The two actresses, who previously reunited at the MTV Video Music Awards where Johnson presented Swift with an award, have a connection that Swift humorously described on SNL as Johnson showing up weekly with wine to "overshare."

Swift released her latest music project, "The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore," late last month. The project includes tracks such as "Patient Zero," "Pink Clouding," "Babylon," and "Cleveland!" Some reviews have described the new tracks as "derivative and flat." Johnson also appeared in the music video for Swift's new single, "Patient Zero."
