Newlyweds Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made a public appearance just one week after their widely publicized $50 million wedding ceremony. The couple attended the wedding of former Kansas City Chiefs teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster and his fiancée Laura Kruk on Friday in Orange County, California.
Swift, a 12-time Grammy winner, and the NFL player reportedly arrived hand-in-hand at the ceremony held at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel. Swift was described as wearing a strapless pink brocade gown with her signature red lipstick, while Kelce opted for a grey suit.
Smith-Schuster, who now plays for the New York Giants, and Kruk, a fitness influencer, were among the guests at Swift and Kelce's own wedding in New York City the previous week. Their wedding was reportedly held at Madison Square Garden, with an estimated 1,000 guests in attendance. The event featured elaborate floral arrangements, life-sized trees, and a castle-like structure, with reports suggesting the decor alone cost approximately $5 million.
Notable attendees at Swift and Kelce's wedding included Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Bradley Cooper, and Dakota Johnson. Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, and Paul McCartney performed at the reception.
Following their own nuptials, Swift and Kelce reportedly spent time in seclusion at the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana, before traveling to California. Swift's private jet was observed landing at Bob Hope International Airport in Burbank on Thursday, with umbrellas reportedly used to shield the couple as they disembarked. They were then seen entering a convoy of cars, which are believed to have taken them to Swift's mansion in Beverly Hills.
The attendance at Smith-Schuster's wedding is seen as a brief pause before the couple is expected to continue their honeymoon. Reports suggest their honeymoon may include island-hopping in Greece and other parts of Europe. Kelce's current Chiefs teammates, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany, were also anticipated to be present at Smith-Schuster's wedding.
