Neko Health Scan, a Swedish health technology company, is set to open its first United States clinic in New York City this September. The new facility, located at 300 Lafayette Street in Soho, will span 11,000 square feet and marks the company's initial expansion into the U.S. market.

Founded by Daniel Ek, the executive chairman of Spotify, Neko Health offers a non-invasive, radiation-free health scan designed to monitor cardiovascular, metabolic, and other bodily functions. The scan takes approximately 60 minutes to complete, followed by a review from a physician. The company aims to make comprehensive health monitoring more accessible, with its U.S. introductory price set at $499.

The Soho clinic is described as one of Neko Health's largest and most advanced facilities to date. The company currently has a significant presence in Sweden and the United Kingdom. Following its New York launch, Neko Health has plans for additional locations within the city, as well as expansion into Miami and San Francisco.

"New York felt like the right place to bring that idea to the US," said Neko co-Founder and CEO Hjalmar Nilsonne. "It’s a city where people are used to having access to the best of everything and we think healthcare should be no different."

Newmark represented Neko Health in the lease transaction for the property, which is owned by Intervest and Ridgebrook Partners.
