Sussexes Condemn 'Reckless Intrusion' After Men Spotted Near Children's School

Prince Harry and Meghan have condemned the actions of two men who were observed near the school attended by their children, Archie and Lilibet, in the United Kingdom. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's spokesman described the incident as a "reckless intrusion" and an "unacceptable invasion of privacy."

The spokesman elaborated that the individuals "conducted themselves in a way that was irresponsible and ill-considered in the vicinity of a school." The individuals were seen stopping at various points and looking into the school grounds before returning to a van. Police later identified the van as a rental vehicle.

One of the men has been identified as an international press photographer believed to work for a European press agency. "There is a world of difference between legitimate media activity and photographers walking the perimeter of a school, stopping to look into the grounds and monitoring children as they go about their day," the spokesman stated.

Archie and Lilibet began attending school in the UK in early September. Shortly after starting, they switched schools due to security concerns related to traffic during drop-off and pick-up times. The Sussexes are currently undergoing a review of their publicly funded security arrangements following their return to the UK.
