Five men arrested near RAF Fairford on suspicion of terror offenses have been released on bail, according to the head of UK counter terrorism policing.
Assistant Commissioner Laurence Taylor stated on Monday that the investigation remains active, with authorities considering various possibilities, including the involvement of proxies acting on behalf of a foreign state.
The men, all UK nationals in their 20s residing in London, were taken into custody under the Explosives Act and on suspicion of preparing a terrorist act. The investigation is ongoing.
