Authorities have identified the five victims of a quintuple homicide discovered Saturday at a rural home in Forest Grove, Oregon. The deceased include the suspect's girlfriend, Stella Jade Kimsey, 26; her mother, Rowan Karla Kimsey, 60; her grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Kimsey, 85; and two friends, Linsey Mae Haraldsen, 26, and Alvin Raymond Chu, 27.
The suspect, identified as 36-year-old Benjamin Charles Parker, was found dead in his car in Enumclaw, Washington, approximately 187 miles north of the crime scene. Authorities believe Parker died by suicide. Rowan Kimsey owned the property and lived there with her daughter Stella and Parker.
The Washington County Sheriff's Office is investigating the deaths as a homicide but has not yet specified the cause of death for the victims or the animals found at the scene. Two cats and two dogs were pronounced dead at the property, and a third cat was euthanized due to severe injuries.
Sheriff Caprice Massey described the crime scene as unusually complex, stating that in her 22 years of service, she had not encountered an investigation of this nature. The discovery of the bodies on Saturday led to the announcement of the homicide investigation on Sunday. The large crime scene has presented significant challenges for investigators.
