The search continues for a suspect in the deaths of a mother and her two children in what police are calling a deeply distressing incident. Bedfordshire Police believe the individual they are looking for has left the country.

The force has not yet formally identified the victims. The house where the incident occurred, located in Great Denham, has been cordoned off, with floral tributes left on a hedge outside the property. Police vehicles and forensic vans were present at the scene.

Authorities stated there is no indication of a wider risk to the public, but patrols in the area have been increased as a precaution. Police are appealing to anyone with information about the incident or who observed suspicious activity in the area on Friday or Saturday to come forward. ![Police vehicles outside a modern brick house and a mock Tudor house](https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/ace/standard/976/cpsprodpb/6663/live/341ca7a0-7a0e-11f1-b976-0b9c15b0ccfc.jpg "About six police vehicles parked outside a large modern, two-storey brick house.
