Suspect Arrested in Shooting of 49ers Player Keion White

A man suspected of shooting San Francisco 49ers player Keion White in February has been arrested in Los Angeles. Gregory Walker, 35, was taken into custody on Friday morning, according to reports. He faces a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon with a semiautomatic rifle and is being held without bail.

The LAPD's Gang and Narcotics Division apprehended Walker after police received notification that he was in the city. Walker is accused of shooting White hours after Super Bowl LX, an event where the Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots.

White was hospitalized in the early hours of February 9 after being shot in the ankle. The incident reportedly occurred at Dahlia's on Mission Street in San Francisco, following an alleged dispute with rapper Lil Baby and his entourage. According to witness accounts detailed in a police report, the altercation began when the rapper's entourage attempted to enter White's private event. The argument escalated quickly before shots were fired.

Upon arrival at the club, officers discovered White with a gunshot wound to his left leg. The scene was described as chaotic, with adult entertainers and scattered dollar bills on the floor. Investigators found shell casings from both 9mm and .45-caliber weapons at the scene.

White, who was reportedly uncooperative with officers when asked to identify the shooter, was transported to a local hospital. He underwent emergency surgery and has since made a full recovery. The defensive lineman has played in all four of the 49ers' games this season, recording two sacks and six tackles. White was acquired by the 49ers in a trade with the Patriots in 2025 and was a second-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
