Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies arrested a suspect at Kim Kardashian's Hidden Hills mansion on Sunday afternoon in connection with a residential burglary and vehicle theft. The incident occurred on Long Valley Road, with deputies responding to the scene before 4 p.m.

The arrested individual, identified as Trey Mendel, was reportedly observed placing items into a vehicle at the property. Authorities stated that Mendel was taken into custody for burglary and for taking a vehicle without the owner's consent.

He was transported to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station and remains in custody. The investigation is ongoing and will be forwarded to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for consideration of charges. The stolen vehicle did not belong to Kardashian.

Kardashian, her four children, and their residences were not at the home during the incident, as the property is currently under renovation and unoccupied. The reality star and businesswoman purchased the Hidden Hills home in 2014 with her ex-husband, Kanye West, for a reported $20 million. She later purchased the home from West for $23 million as part of their divorce settlement, which was finalized in November 2022. She continues to reside in the home with their four children: North, Chicago, Saint, and Psalm.
