Susanna Reid, 55, has launched an unconventional campaign for Good Morning Britain to win a National Television Award, advocating from an Ibiza beach club.
The Good Morning Britain host was photographed in a black swimsuit at O Beach Ibiza, a popular day club, urging viewers to vote for her show, which has been shortlisted for the Best Daytime Programme award.
Reid, who appeared on the show via FaceTime, was seen with a group of women holding up orange boards that spelled out "VOTE GMB." She wore a plunging one-piece swimsuit with denim shorts and a silk scarf tied as a belt. She also sported a pink shirt, sunglasses, and festival wristbands.
"Normally what happens in Ibiza stays in Ibiza but this morning I am on special duty for GMB," Reid joked during the broadcast. "We are absolutely the best daytime. By the way, yesterday I was at one of the best daytime clubs in Ibiza – other daytime clubs are available – and I had a little heads up."
She later shared her appearance on her Instagram Story, dubbing herself "Raver Reid" and writing, "VOTE GMB! We are up for Best Daytime Programme at the incredible NTAs so I celebrated at one of Ibiza's best daytime clubs."
Fellow GMB hosts Richard Madeley and Ranvir Singh were also on the show, catching up with presenters Ed Balls and Kate Garraway, who are also on holiday. Balls was in Norway, while Garraway called in from her living room, stating she would return to the screen on Wednesday.
Reid, a mother of three sons, has previously spoken about her summer trips to Ibiza, noting that she enjoys the experience with her sons now that they are old enough to go clubbing. She has mentioned attending day clubs with them before returning to the hotel while they continue to nightlife.
