Suri Cruise, the 20-year-old daughter of actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, is set to star in "Midsummer!," a contemporary adaptation of William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream." The production, which is approximately 90 minutes long, will be performed by Cruise and fellow students from Carnegie Mellon University.
The play is scheduled for two performances on July 31 and August 1 at the Trust Arts Education Center’s Peirce Studio in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Following its U.S. run, the production will travel to the United Kingdom for its debut at the 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, which takes place from August 7 to August 31.
It was previously believed that Cruise was considering a degree in fashion. However, she is currently studying musical theater within Carnegie Mellon’s school of drama, having recently completed her sophomore year. Earlier this year, in March, she took on the role of Angel in "Cosmic Microwave Background," a one-night staged reading at Pittsburgh’s New Hazlett Theater.
Cruise, who adopted her mother's middle name, Noelle, graduated from New York City’s LaGuardia High School in June 2024. Her parents, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, welcomed her in April 2006. Following their divorce in August 2012, Suri has primarily lived with her mother. Holmes has spoken about their close relationship, stating they "kind of grew up together."
Tom Cruise also has two adopted children, Isabella “Bella” Cruise, 33, and Connor Cruise, 31, from his previous marriage to Nicole Kidman. He was also married to Mimi Rogers from 1987 to 1990.
