Sue Radford, the mother of Britain's largest family featured on the Channel 5 show "22 Kids and Counting," has requested that fans refrain from visiting her home after an incident where a viewer approached her child for a photograph.
Radford took to social media to address the issue, stating that while she and her family enjoy interacting with fans when they are out, having people come to their private residence is uncomfortable and poses a safety risk. She explained that one of her older children was approached at their home by an individual who recognized them from the television program.
"Our home is our private space, and our children should be able to feel safe and comfortable there, especially when we're not at home," Radford wrote on Instagram. She also noted that their dog is protective of the property, highlighting a potential danger if the animal had been outdoors during the encounter.
Radford emphasized her gratitude for the family's supporters but reiterated the plea for privacy regarding their home. "But please, we're politely asking that you don't come to our home. We're not happy with this happening and we really need our privacy to be respected," she stated.
The family recently vacationed in Spain and took a UK trip earlier this year. In April, Radford and her husband Noel faced criticism after expressing frustration over a cancelled trip to Dubai due to the conflict in the Middle East, with some social media commenters deeming their concerns insensitive given the ongoing global events.
