Police bodycam footage released Friday captures a confrontation between a University of Central Florida student and a campus police officer, which concluded with the student's arrest. The video, filmed in February 2025, shows a student identified as 27-year-old Jarrett Vick, who described himself as transgender, becoming agitated with the officer.
The incident began when the officer responded to an unrelated call at a campus building. In the video, Vick approaches the officer, stating, “Why do you let those pigs get away with this? They are not supposed to be here.” The student then appears to escalate the verbal exchange, confronting the officer about being "misgendered."
The footage, released by Inside The Blue TV, shows the situation intensifying before Vick is taken into custody. The student's emotional response and subsequent arrest were captured on the body-worn camera.
