Strictly Judge Craig Revel Horwood Questions Contestant's Actions

Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood questioned contestant Josh Widdicombe's behavior during the show's live broadcast, asking, "What are you doing?" The awkward moment occurred after Dani Dyer and her partner Nikita Kuzmin performed their Tango routine. As Revel Horwood offered feedback, Widdicombe appeared to be making hand signals towards the judge.

Revel Horwood immediately paused his critique to address Widdicombe directly, inquiring about his actions. Widdicombe responded with laughter, while Revel Horwood proceeded with his feedback, which aligned with the comments made by the other judges. Viewers on social media platform X noted the exchange, with some interpreting it as Revel Horwood "humiliating Josh on air."

This incident follows earlier speculation about tension between Widdicombe and judge Motsi Mabuse. During a previous week, viewers suggested Mabuse appeared to be growing tired of Widdicombe's interjections. However, Mabuse addressed these rumors, stating that Widdicombe is her "friend." The perceived tension surfaced when Widdicombe jokingly shouted "Shirley!" (referring to head judge Shirley Ballas) in an attempt to skip Mabuse's feedback, prompting Mabuse to ask, "Well are we going to be friends or enemies, you choose now!"

Mabuse has since defended the show's judging panel, indicating that they are "finding our rhythm."
