Strictly Come Dancing Stars Dazzle at Pride of Britain Awards
Dancers swap the ballroom for the red carpet to honor everyday heroes.
Several stars from the popular BBC dancing competition, Strictly Come Dancing, traded their dancing shoes for glamorous gowns and suits at the Pride of Britain Awards on Monday evening. The event, held at London's Grosvenor Hotel, celebrated the nation's unsung everyday heroes.
Among the attendees were Dani Dyer, Jowita Przystal, and Amy Dowden. Dyer, a former Love Island contestant, wore a glittering gown and was seen with her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin. Przystal, who impressed with her lifts the previous weekend, donned a black strapless gown. Dowden, who was the first contestant voted out this season with her partner Chris Appleton, appeared in a shimmering, plunging dress.
Other Strictly personalities also made an appearance. EastEnders actress Lacey Turner, a contestant on the show, was present in a deep purple dress alongside her professional partner Vito Coppola. Kai Widdrington arrived in a plum suit jacket. His dance partner, Delta Goodrem, was recently cleared by doctors to return to dancing after an injury had previously prevented her from training.
Melanie Walters, another contestant, was seen in a black gown with a thigh-high split. Professional dancer Alexis Warr sported a navy and gold gown inspired by Medusa, complemented by a small Chanel handbag. Former contestant Tyler West, who hosts Strictly's spin-off show, attended with his fiancée Molly Rainford.
Duo Graeme Hall and Lauren Oakley also showcased their red carpet attire.
The Pride of Britain Awards ceremony, co-hosted by Carol Vorderman and Ashley Banjo, will be televised on Thursday at 8 p.m. The awards recognize individuals for their bravery and dedication to charitable causes, with winners selected from public nominations by a dedicated judging panel.
