Street artist Nathan Murdoch, known for his murals in Peterborough including tributes to Prodigy singer Keith Flint and a portrait of Jude Bellingham, has secured professional advice and a job offer after appearing on the BBC show Dragons' Den. Murdoch presented his street art business, Street Arts Hire, to the panel of entrepreneurs seeking investment to expand his company.

Murdoch, 38, requested a £60,000 investment in exchange for a 10% share of his business. He explained that the funds would enable him to hire a full-time coordinator to manage the increasing volume of commissioned work, as his company can currently only fulfill approximately 60% of requests. During his pitch, Murdoch was accompanied by a large painting of a dragon he created specifically for the show.

While the sought-after investment was not granted, entrepreneur Steven Bartlett was impressed by Murdoch's work and offered him both one-to-one business advice and a position painting the walls of his new London offices. Murdoch's previous work includes murals on the topic of anti-racism and tributes to notable figures. He has also created artwork for sporting events, such as a portrait of Harry Kane during the World Cup.
