Stranger in Biden Mask Eats Banana on Texas Family's Doorbell Camera

A person wearing a mask of President Joe Biden was captured on a Texas family's doorbell camera eating a banana, an incident that authorities have determined did not violate any laws.

The footage, recorded Sunday evening in Watauga, a suburb west of Dallas, showed the individual approaching the home, opening their jacket to reveal a T-shirt with the word 'FREEDOM' printed on it, and then proceeding to eat the banana while looking at the camera.

The 'FREEDOM' shirt is associated with conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, who wore a similar shirt when he was reportedly assassinated at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. The individual in the video touched the camera twice before turning and walking away.

Watauga Police Department Chief Jim Lewis stated that while the person's "choice of attire and snack may have raised a few eyebrows," their actions did not appear to break any laws. "While we can't explain the costume, the banana, or the apparent political identity crisis, we can confirm that being bizarre is not, in itself, a criminal offense," Lewis told WFAA.

Police reviewed the video and concluded that no criminal offenses had occurred, and therefore, no arrests or charges were made. Lewis encouraged residents to continue reporting suspicious activity, adding humorously, "even when the circumstances are a little bananas."

The family that recorded the video described the incident as "scary," though they were not identified in reports. Police officers searched the neighborhood but could not locate the individual.

Reports of similar sightings have emerged on social media among other Watauga residents, though no further official reports involving this specific person had been filed with the police. The department has not released the footage.

Online reactions to the video varied, with some users pointing out the connection to Charlie Kirk's shirt and others expressing disgust or dismissing it as a "lame Halloween prank." Some commenters also noted that Biden is more famously associated with ice cream than bananas, suggesting a missed opportunity for the masked individual.

The police department has confirmed that they took such reports seriously, despite the unusual nature of the incident.
