Steven McBee Jr., a star of the reality series 'The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys,' described the current season as "bittersweet to watch back," reflecting on his past relationship with entrepreneur and content creator Allie Eklund. Despite their public breakup, McBee Jr. expressed enduring positive sentiments towards Eklund and her family.
"At the time, I was very, very happy. I thought I’d found the person I was going to be with forever," McBee Jr. stated in a recent interview. "I still think the world of her and her family."
McBee Jr. also shared insights into his personal development, noting that he has been actively working on himself. "I’ve really come to an internal peace," he said. "I know what I like to do; I know how I like to spend my life. I feel happy with myself and what I’m doing with my family. I don’t need anyone else to find fulfillment."
He acknowledged that while he would welcome a partner who appreciates his lifestyle, it is not a current requirement. His focus remains on his family and business endeavors.
During the interview, McBee Jr. also revisited a conversation about the family's tallow business with his brother Cole’s fiancée, Kacie Adkison. He expressed regret over his approach, stating, "I would go about the conversation a lot more respectfully. Because of my prior business experience, I feel like I came across a little bit prideful or arrogant. I did not mean to do that. I wish I had been a bit more humble and more open to her suggestions."
He also definitively stated that he would not offer a girlfriend a significant stake in his business again, calling it a promise.
Regarding his much-discussed "dream girl" list, McBee Jr. clarified it was more of a "manifestation" exercise, akin to setting life goals, rather than a rigid set of requirements. He admitted to being too specific with elements like hair color in his initial list.
The conversation also touched upon the ongoing conflict between his father’s ex, Galyna Saltkovska, and his father’s current girlfriend, Masha Petrova. McBee Jr. indicated that the two women cannot coexist peacefully, humorously noting that a third-party mediator is sometimes needed to coordinate visits to his father. He recalled an instance where both women unexpectedly showed up to visit his father at the same time.
Looking ahead to the remainder of the season, McBee Jr. teased that there are more surprises and a "really big trip" yet to unfold.
