Katie Miller, wife of former Trump White House official Stephen Miller, has publicly voiced support for Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's decision to freeze her eggs, a move that departs from the well-documented political animosity between her husband and the progressive congresswoman.
Miller, who recently welcomed her fourth child, shared her sentiments on social media platform X. "Good for her for wanting to be a mother and preserving her ability to do so," Katie Miller wrote. "If she inspires other women to want to become mothers, awesome. We need more babies."
The statement comes amid a long-standing public conflict between Ocasio-Cortez and Stephen Miller. The congresswoman has previously labeled Stephen Miller a "white nationalist," a charge he has denied. Ocasio-Cortez also made a remark in October 2025 about his appearance, to which Stephen Miller responded on Fox News by questioning her eyesight and calling her "a mess."
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, 36, shared a candid video on Instagram detailing her fertility journey and the process of administering fertility drugs in preparation for egg freezing. She described the decision as a way to "feel more in control of my life" and to showcase women's capabilities.
"This is just not something that men deal with," Ocasio-Cortez stated in her video, referring to the societal pressures and assumptions women face regarding family planning when pursuing careers. "Men run for office, or frankly, they interview for jobs, and people don't think in the back of their mind, 'OK, this guy's running for office. How old is he? Oh, well, is he going to want to start a family?'"
Katie Miller, 34, is the mother of four children with Stephen Miller, who served as White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy under President Donald Trump. The couple's youngest son, Hawthorne Hayes Miller, was born in early June, joining siblings Mackenzie, Jackson, and Hudson.
