Stephen Bear, a television personality, has been sentenced to 21 months in prison for violating the terms of the sex offender register. The court heard that Bear posted on social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Facebook about his legal case and a former partner between March 1 and July 21, 2025. During this period, he was subject to restrictions as a registered sex offender.
A deputy district judge, Claire Pithie, stated that Bear was not aware of the restrictions at the time of his actions and is now reportedly clear about the requirements. The judge advised Bear to "work on your strategies" to avoid future difficulties, noting that "You have a baby on the way."
Bear was previously jailed in 2023 for 21 months for distributing a private video of himself and Georgia Harrison on OnlyFans and WhatsApp without her knowledge. After serving half of his original sentence, he was released from prison. However, his subsequent social media activity led to the current sentencing for breaching the conditions of his release and the sex offender register.
