Stephen Bear is scheduled to be sentenced at Chelmsford Crown Court after pleading guilty to violating the terms of a restraining order. This marks another legal challenge for the reality personality, who was previously released from prison in January 2024.
Bear served a 21-month sentence for sharing a sex tape of his former girlfriend, Georgia Harrison, an ex-contestant on the reality show Love Island. He was convicted in 2023 of voyeurism and disclosing private sexual photographs and films. Prosecutors estimated he earned £22,305 from sharing the footage on the subscription platform OnlyFans, a sum he was ordered to repay.
Following his early release after serving just over ten months, Bear reportedly posted social media messages about Harrison and his trial, claiming it was 'fixed.' These posts, made while Harrison was pregnant, included defamatory statements that caused her distress and led to her reporting him to Essex Police. Detective Constable Swarv Stafin stated that Bear's behavior is unacceptable and should not be normalized, emphasizing the real stress and anxiety caused by harassment.
Harrison, who has become an activist against revenge porn and was awarded an MBE for her work, has chosen not to attend Bear's sentencing hearing. She explained her absence by stating that attending would give him the attention he seeks and that the manosphere culture thrives on such reactions. She also noted that Bear's actions – sharing intimate footage without consent and continuing his behavior despite legal consequences – align with what she believes the system rewards.
Harrison has spoken about the significant impact the events had on her mental health. After appearing on Love Island: All Stars in 2024, she met her current partner, Jack Stacey. The couple welcomed their daughter, Sahara, in October 2025, a development Harrison described as bringing immense happiness and a sense of safety.
She has expressed that her relationship with Stacey, who has no ties to the entertainment industry, has helped her regain trust. Harrison credits him with being a significant support in her activism, stating he is proud of her work and unfazed by the public attention it brings. She founded The Georgia Harrison Foundation to promote online safety and support victims of online abuse.
Bear, meanwhile, recently announced he and his wife, Miami, are expecting their first child together. He continues to work as an adult content creator on OnlyFans.
