Stephen Bear is set to be sentenced next month at Chelmsford Crown Court after admitting to breaching the terms of a restraining order. The conviction follows his earlier sentencing for sharing a sex tape of his former Love Island partner, Georgia Harrison.

Bear was released from HMP Brixton in January 2024, having served over 10 months of a 21-month sentence for voyeurism and disclosing private sexual images. A jury had found him guilty in 2023. He was also ordered to pay £22,305, which prosecutors estimated he earned from distributing the footage on OnlyFans.

Following his early release, Bear posted numerous messages on social media about Harrison and his trial, alleging it was "fixed." These posts, made while Harrison was pregnant, included defamatory statements and images of her, causing her distress and leading her to report him to Essex police. "He shared intimate footage of me without my consent, and when the law caught up with him, he came back for more – because the attention was worth more to him than the consequences," Harrison stated in comments to The Sun.

Detective Constable Swarv Stafin, who investigated the restraining order breach, said, "Stephen Bear's behaviour is not okay and it should not be normalised or accepted. The impacts of being harassed are very real. It causes a great deal of stress and anxiety – it is something no-one should have to experience." Stafin added, "The fact that he has admitted the charge against him shows he knew very well what he was doing was wrong and he knew he was breaching the restraining order."

Harrison, who waived her right to anonymity during Bear's original trial to campaign for stricter revenge porn laws, stated that she stayed away from court hearings to avoid giving him the attention he craves. "That's not just a man with a problem. That's a man doing exactly what the system rewards. And that culture is the thing I want to help change now," she commented.

During the initial criminal trial, it was heard that while Harrison and Bear had consensual sex at his home, Harrison was unaware she was being filmed and did not consent to the footage being shared. Bear reportedly showed no remorse and made claims that his trial was "fixed."

Last year, Harrison was awarded an MBE for her services to the prevention of violence against women and girls. She has since launched The Georgia Harrison Foundation, an initiative aimed at making the internet a safer place, supporting victims of online abuse, and promoting discussions about harmful online attitudes and behaviors. "I had to live in fear that this was going to come out and my family were going to know about it. It was just like the worst feeling you can ever possibly imagine. I felt violated, I felt embarrassed - I hated myself for a really long time," Harrison had previously stated at a Proceeds of Crime hearing.

In recent weeks, Bear announced that he and his wife, Miami, are expecting their first child. The couple married in July 2025. Bear currently works as an adult content creator on OnlyFans.
