Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry reached a scoring milestone on Wednesday night, tying LeBron James for the most 40-point games after the age of 35. Curry achieved this feat during the Warriors' 119-114 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The veteran guard's performance included 44 points, with 23 coming in the first half. He finished the game 16-for-16 from the free-throw line, contributing significantly to the Warriors' win. Curry also added eight rebounds and six assists.

This 40-point outing marks Curry's 15th such game since turning 35, a number that now matches James' record for players in that age bracket. Rookie forward Yaxel Lendeborg also had a notable performance for the Warriors, scoring a career-high 26 points.

The Timberwolves were without star player Anthony Edwards, who is expected to miss at least two months following arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. The Warriors, who started the season with a 0-3 record, have now won two consecutive games. Golden State is set to host the Lakers on Friday.
