Steffi Graf's Brother Reportedly Living in Las Vegas Tunnels, Accuses Agassi of Assault
Michael Graf, facing legal troubles including an arrest warrant, has posted videos from beneath the city, alleging physical altercations with his brother-in-law, Andre Agassi.
Michael Graf, the brother of tennis legend Steffi Graf, is reportedly living in the storm drain tunnels beneath Las Vegas, a homeless encampment estimated to house over 1,000 people. Graf, 55, has shared a series of videos on his Facebook page that appear to have been filmed in these tunnels. In some of these posts, he makes accusations against his brother-in-law, tennis icon Andre Agassi, claiming Agassi assaulted him.
In the videos, Michael Graf, described as having disheveled hair and appearing dejected, speaks incoherently in some instances due to audio issues. However, in clearer segments, he recounts an alleged physical altercation with Agassi. "I truly believe that Andre enjoyed hitting me as hard as he could," Michael Graf is heard saying in one video. "I truly believe he liked it." He also made peculiar remarks about pinching Agassi's nipples during the alleged encounter.
These claims come as Michael Graf is reportedly facing an arrest warrant in Nevada for violating court conditions, including a ban on contacting his ex-wife. He has also faced accusations of domestic violence and drunk driving, with his latest legal troubles following a 2020 arrest for violent outbursts in Las Vegas. At that time, Steffi Graf reportedly supported her brother, providing financial assistance for his legal defense and seeking legal guardianship.
Michael Graf's living situation has reportedly changed drastically over the past year. After his second marriage ended earlier this year, he is said to have begun a nomadic lifestyle, at times living out of his Tesla. His camp reportedly burned down in August, and he crashed his Tesla in September, leading to a DUI arrest and a mugshot. It is unclear how long he has been living in the tunnels.
Meanwhile, Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi have built a life together in Las Vegas. Agassi, who was born and raised in the city, and Graf settled there decades ago. Graf's mother and Michael Graf with his four children also relocated to Las Vegas, creating a strong family presence. In a recent social media post, Agassi shared a video of himself and Steffi playing tennis, captioned, "How lovely to dream while you're awake."
In past interviews, Steffi Graf spoke about the importance of family in her decision to settle in Las Vegas. She told Hello! magazine in 2014 that her mother and brother, along with his children, joined her and Agassi in the city. "All the cousins are together and growing up together - it's pretty neat," she said. In 2008, she told Tennis Magazine that while she initially had no plans to settle in Las Vegas after her career, the strong family ties, including Agassi's local roots and the presence of her mother and brother's family, made it a special place.
