Stars Flock to Austin for US Grand Prix

Joe Rogan, WNBA star Sophie Cunningham, and Senator Ted Cruz were among the notable personalities spotted at the US Grand Prix in Austin, Texas.

Rogan, the popular podcaster, attended the racing event with his wife, Jessica. Cunningham, enjoying her WNBA offseason, also made an appearance. The Indiana Fever player had previously drawn attention for her comments on transgender athletes during the season. She was seen in the paddock alongside Marcin Budkowski, Cadillac's team principal.

Senator Ted Cruz was also in attendance, seen with a large Starbucks coffee. Chef Gordon Ramsay, a known Formula One enthusiast, was present with his wife Tana and son Oscar. British journalist and television personality Jeremy Clarkson was also spotted giving a thumbs-up to cameras. Model Rebecca Donaldson, girlfriend of Williams driver Carlos Sainz, was present to support her partner.

The event on the track saw Italian driver Kimi Antonelli secure pole position, ahead of Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar. Antonelli was aiming to become Formula One's youngest world champion, with a chance to clinch the title at the Circuit of the Americas depending on his performance and the results of other drivers like George Russell and Lewis Hamilton. Despite Ferrari leading practice sessions, Antonelli's qualifying lap put him ahead of Verstappen by 0.179 seconds.
