Fears of a stalker cast a shadow over the extravagant Cotswolds wedding of Eve Jobs, daughter of the late Apple tycoon Steve Jobs, and Olympic showjumper Harry Charles. The three-day ceremony, reportedly costing £5 million, was attended by notable figures including Princess Beatrice and former US vice-president Kamala Harris.

Eve Jobs, 28, stated in a victim impact statement that the stalking incident left her feeling "unsafe" and reluctant to be alone. The individual, identified as 34-year-old Ajan Purna-Spedding, was charged with stalking after repeatedly contacting Ms. Jobs via calls, flowers, and cards in the year leading up to her July 2025 wedding. His actions caused "fear, alarm or distress."

Security for the wedding, already heightened due to the presence of high-profile guests, was further reinforced to address the stalker's actions. Ms. Jobs expressed particular concern about the journey to and from the church.

Purna-Spedding was handed a restraining order, a community order, and fines totaling £650 for the trial costs. However, he has since lodged an appeal against his conviction, with a hearing date yet to be confirmed.
