Stacey Solomon Showcases Renovated Orange Bathroom in New Mansion

Stacey Solomon has shared an update on the renovation of her new £2 million mansion in Essex, revealing a newly decorated orange bathroom. The television presenter, who recently moved with her partner Joe Swash and their children from their former home, Pickle Cottage, documented the transformation of the vibrant bathroom on Instagram.

Solomon decided to keep the existing orange sink, toilet, and bathtub, choosing instead to upcycle them and add striped wallpaper to modernize the space. She expressed her enthusiasm for the bold design, acknowledging that it might be divisive but stating her personal fondness for it. "I'm ready for people to hate this But honestly I love it so so much…" Solomon wrote in a caption accompanying photos of the finished room.

She explained that the upstairs bathroom would be for her sons and that they also love the color, providing an opportunity for her to have fun with the decor. "This room now just makes me happy as soon as I open the door. It's so bright and cheerful," she added.

Previously, Solomon had shown the bathroom's dilapidated state, seeking opinions on whether to keep the orange suite. "First Upcycle at pickle project… basically doing THE MOST to convince people (and myself) that the orange suite needs to stay," she had posted last month, before deciding to embrace the existing color scheme.

Solomon reportedly purchased the new £2 million mansion as the sole owner, a pattern also followed when she bought their previous home, Pickle Cottage, for £1.3 million in 2021. Sources suggest this financial arrangement made sense given Solomon's business acumen and sole ownership of their prior property, which was sold for over £1 million. Her net worth is estimated to be over £10 million, significantly higher than Joe Swash's estimated £1.5 million.
