Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash's plans for a rare child-free date day took an unexpected turn when her ex-boyfriend, Dean Cox, and his wife, Nikki, joined them. The couple, who recently addressed speculation about their marriage, shared photos from their outing on Sunday.

Solomon, 36, had expressed excitement about the opportunity for a day out with Swash, her husband. They initially planned to visit a new location, having arranged for childcare for their children. "A rare day for us," Solomon captioned photos on social media. "Joe's sister has kindly taken the pickles out for the day (we love you cassie). And we are off somewhere we've never been to before but always wanted to go SO excited!!"

Upon arriving at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, Solomon revealed that her father, Dave, had also joined them. "This is his lifelong dream so we couldn't not come on the date without him but now Joe feels like the third wheel," she explained.

The group expanded further when Solomon introduced her ex, Dean Cox, and his wife, Nikki, to her followers. "Do you know who's really important to bring on a date day with your husband? Your last baby daddy and his wife," she said, panning to Cox and his wife. She clarified that the outing was also a date day for Zach's father and stepmother, as it was also Zach's father's dream to attend the event. Solomon and Cox were childhood sweethearts and had their son, Zachary, when Solomon was 17 and Cox was 18.

Solomon is also mother to 14-year-old son Leighton from a previous relationship, and daughters Rose, four, and Belle, three, and son Rex, seven, with husband Joe Swash. In May, Solomon dismissed rumors of divorce, stating she still has strong feelings for Swash, 44. She commented on the pressures of public life, suggesting that as long as they know the truth, external speculation is irrelevant.

"Sometimes I fancy the pants off him and can't wait to come home to see him," Solomon said. "Sometimes I'm like: 'Get out of my stratosphere – stay away from me.' I think we're just like any other couple."

Rumors about their marital status intensified earlier this year amid reports that their marriage had not been formally registered. Solomon was later photographed wearing her engagement ring but not her wedding band, further fueling questions about their relationship.

The couple is reportedly planning a significant move, considering purchasing an eight-bedroom Victorian mansion to accommodate their blended family. The property is said to be nearly double the price of their current home, Pickle Cottage, which they purchased in 2021. The new home, situated on extensive grounds, would offer more space for their six children and themselves, and provide ample opportunity for Solomon's DIY and interior design projects.
