Stacey Solomon has announced her family's departure from Pickle Cottage, a home they have occupied for several years, citing unspecified privacy and security concerns that have led her to refrain from sharing images of their new residence.

In a social media post on Saturday, Solomon shared a glimpse of her daughter Rose in a sparsely furnished room of their new home, noting the strangeness of not waking up at Pickle Cottage. "Feels so strange not waking up in pickle cottage but so excited taking it all in & wondering what to do with this place," she wrote. The new home appears to be a grander property, with details like a marble fireplace and ornate wallpaper visible in early glimpses.

Solomon explained her decision to withhold images of the exterior of their new property: "Just for security and privacy reasons... we had some issues at pickle cottage in the end & it's safer to just not show the building itself." She expressed excitement about redecorating and seeking input from her followers for the extensive renovation project.

Earlier, on Friday, Solomon and her husband, Joe Swash, posted a family photo on their new doorstep with the caption, "Home is wherever I’m with you… Pickle Project, Here We Go." They had previously revealed their decision to move after falling in love with a new property that offers more land.

The family, including their children Rex, Rose, and Belle, along with Solomon's older sons Zachary and Leighton, and Swash's son Harry, have successfully relocated their animals, including chickens, ducks, and their beehive, to the new estate. Solomon has indicated plans to expand their animal rescue efforts and establish a large vegetable garden.

The couple had reportedly fallen in love with the eight-bedroom Victorian mansion back in June. The property boasts a swimming pool, extensive gardens, and ample space for their large family. Solomon, often referred to as the 'queen of DIY,' is expected to undertake significant renovations on the estate.

Solomon shared a montage of memories from Pickle Cottage, which she and Swash moved into in 2021. The property was the setting for their reality series, their wedding in 2022, and where both of her daughters were born. "Pickle Cottage is our dream house, as soon as we moved here we fell in love with it and I still love it so, so much," Solomon stated, highlighting its sentimental value.

The decision to move was driven by a long-held desire to acquire more land for animal rescue and to cultivate a larger vegetable patch. "We saw somewhere and I was like, we could have a massive vegetable patch and we could offer our land to animals who need it and stuff like that," she explained.

Despite the emotional significance of leaving Pickle Cottage, Solomon expressed enthusiasm for the new chapter and the challenge of transforming their new, significantly different property. "It's a project, we're moving somewhere really really different and it does need a lot of love and I'm excited to do that all again."
