Stacey Solomon Gives Tour of New Home Office Amid Renovation Chaos

Stacey Solomon has offered fans a glimpse into her newly purchased £2 million mansion, focusing on her plans for the home office. The television presenter, along with her husband Joe Swash, recently moved from their former family home, known as Pickle Cottage, to the larger estate in Essex.

Solomon shared a video tour of the office space, noting its distinctive features including large built-in wardrobes, a marble fireplace, and retro light fixtures. "So welcome to the office. I have never had an office inside of my house in Pickle Cottage. I made the shed my office, so this is so cool," she said on Instagram. She expressed enthusiasm for the existing wardrobes, suggesting they could be upcycled, and was intrigued by the fireplace, which has a stone covering she plans to investigate.

The renovation efforts have begun at the top of the house due to necessary replacements of unsafe water tanks. This demolition work has led to the family's current living arrangements, with Solomon's three sons—Zachary, Leighton, and Rex—sleeping in a single room downstairs while their bedrooms are being renovated.

"All the boys are sleeping in one room because they don't have bedrooms yet," Solomon explained. "I actually think the boys are quite enjoying all being together in one room. I hear them like laughing and like chatting all night."

Solomon also mentioned the temporary absence of their televisions, which were fitted into the walls at Pickle Cottage and left behind. She described this as a "weird" adjustment for the family.

Reports indicate that Solomon purchased the new mansion solely, as she did with their previous home, Pickle Cottage, which she bought for £1.3 million in 2021. While Solomon and Swash married in a ceremony at Pickle Cottage in 2022, they have not yet formally registered their marriage. An insider suggested that Solomon, described as a "canny businesswoman," being the sole purchaser of the new property "made sense," especially given her estimated net worth of over £10 million, compared to Swash's estimated £1.5 million. She reportedly secured a discount on the mansion's asking price.
