Sports Analyst 'Stitches' Places Bets on Three College Football Games
Following a World Series prediction, the New York Post columnist is wagering on Saturday's college football matchups.
The New York Post's sports analyst, known by the moniker "Stitches," is expanding his betting portfolio beyond the World Series to include three college football games scheduled for Saturday. This move follows a previous prediction for the World Series, where the columnist stated his intention to bet on the Brewers.
For Saturday's college football slate, "Stitches" has selected Texas Tech to win against Cincinnati with a -440 point spread. Additionally, bets have been placed on LSU to defeat Auburn (-280) and BYU to secure a victory over UCF (-285).
The analyst, who has been handicapping baseball for the Post since 2019 and previously won the publication's NFL Best Bet crown, expressed a degree of apprehension about his latest wagers, noting, "We have a plan that will surely backfire because we are playing with fire."
Earlier in the week, the columnist confirmed his commitment to betting on the first four games of the World Series. The Milwaukee Brewers secured a 3-2 victory in Game 1 of the World Series on October 24, 2026, with pitcher Jacob Misiorowski earning the win. The Rays' Drew Rasmussen is slated to start Game 2.
