The newest Spider-Man film, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day,’ is set to premiere in theaters on Friday, July 31. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, known for helming Marvel’s ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,’ the movie features a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, who previously worked on other Holland-led Spider-Man features.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ marks the fourth film starring Tom Holland as Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man. The plot picks up following the events of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ from 2021, with Peter navigating the consequences of a world that has forgotten his existence. While he continues to protect New York City anonymously, a dangerous new development in his powers makes it increasingly difficult for him to operate alone.

Jacob Batalon returns as Ned, and Jon Bernthal reprises his role as The Punisher. Sadie Sink joins the cast in an as-yet-undisclosed role.

Currently, the only way to watch ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is in movie theaters. Showtimes can be found via Fandango.

The film is not expected to be available on Netflix, as Marvel properties are owned by Disney and typically stream exclusively on Disney+. While an official streaming release date for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ on Disney+ has not yet been announced, based on the release patterns of previous Disney Marvel films like ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps,’ it could potentially become available on digital platforms around late September or early October 2026, and begin streaming on Disney+ in early to mid-November 2026. This timeline, however, remains speculative.
