Reality television personality Spencer Pratt has issued a strong critique of both Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and her challenger, Nithya Raman, following the mayoral election. Raman appears poised to defeat Bass, a development that Pratt suggested was a consequence of Bass's perceived mismanagement of the city.

"Nithya didn’t win," Pratt wrote on X, formerly Twitter, referencing the election results. "Karen lost. You simply can’t destroy a city as much as she did. She played with fire, and she got fired."

Pratt also directed insults at Raman, calling her a "moron" and characterizing the election outcome as a "humiliation ritual." He expressed pessimism about the city's future regardless of the winner, stating, "Nithya won’t offer any reprieve, though. She’s a moron and the city will continue to decline. The real loser today is LA, but we were gonna tank with either candidate."

The comments come as some outlets are projecting Raman as the victor over the incumbent Bass in the Los Angeles mayoral race. The election has drawn significant attention, and Pratt's outspoken reaction adds a notable voice to the public discourse surrounding the results.
