Reality television personality Spencer Pratt met with former President Donald Trump in the Oval Office on Monday, a senior administration official confirmed to Fox News Digital. Pratt, who launched an unsuccessful bid for Los Angeles mayor, shared a photograph of the meeting on X.
The image depicted Pratt and an unidentified man, along with White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, seated with Trump at the Resolute Desk. The meeting occurred before Trump departed for the NATO summit in Turkey.
Pratt announced on Tuesday the launch of The WAR Foundation, an organization established to combat political corruption through media campaigns, investigative research, and public education. The foundation's stated aims include fostering transparency and accountability, advocating for common sense, and opposing socialism in government and cultural institutions.
Trump had previously endorsed Pratt's mayoral campaign in May, encouraging California voters to support him. Pratt's public profile rose recently following his response to comments made by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani regarding the Fourth of July.
In a viral video, Pratt, filming beside his RV at the site of a fire that destroyed his home in the Los Angeles Palisades, criticized Mamdani's remarks. Pratt stated that those he described as "communists" attack history to seize property and rebuild it in their own image. He emphasized the importance of loving America as a defense against tyranny.
Pratt's campaign for Los Angeles mayor challenged incumbent Karen Bass. While he did not win the election, polls indicated he was contending for second place in the race.
