Speculation Swirls Over Archie and Lilibet's Future as Working Royals
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's return to the UK has fueled questions about their children's potential roles within the British monarchy.
Following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's return to the United Kingdom over a month ago, speculation is mounting regarding the future roles of their children, Archie and Lilibet. The couple's extended stay in Britain has prompted questions about their intentions, with some suggesting a desire for their children to receive a traditional British education.
Prince Harry himself attended the esteemed Eton College, an experience that has led to inquiries about whether he and Meghan harbor hopes for Archie and Lilibet to eventually become working members of the royal family. As sixth and seventh in line to the throne, respectively, their path to such roles would be contingent on various factors within the monarchy's structure.
This renewed focus on their children's upbringing and potential future within the royal fold has also raised the possibility of it serving as a catalyst for reconciliation between the Sussexes and other members of the family. Royal Editor Rebecca English has addressed these evolving questions in the latest edition of the Palace Confidential newsletter, offering insights into the potential implications of the Sussexes' recent activities and their plans moving forward after their time in California.
