A special education teacher in Maryland is facing backlash for a series of social media posts suggesting women should "stop giving birth" to boys and "start aborting male fetuses" as a means to end "patriarchal hell."

Dana L. Zentgraf, an educator at Montgomery County’s Clopper Mill Elementary School, reportedly made these statements on Facebook in October. According to The Free Beacon, one post read, "I think we should start aborting male fetuses (or not having kids at all right now) and put an end to female oppression once and for all."

Further posts attributed to Zentgraf, using the Facebook account "Da Graf," expressed the sentiment that all boys are destined to exploit women. "They are all menace to society and we need to stop giving birth to them," one post allegedly stated. Another claimed, "If I was in my reproduction era, I would have one of those early blood tests to see if the fetus is a boy or a girl and I would abort it if it was a boy. I don’t want to give birth to my own oppressor and I feel like the only way out of this patriarchal hell is for there to be less men on this earth."

Zentgraf's philosophy, as described in the posts, suggested that even mothers who raise their sons well are contributing to future misogyny because sons enter a "patriarchal world" that teaches men power over women. "It’s your son too. It’s all of them," she reportedly wrote.

These statements are particularly concerning given Zentgraf's role in teaching children with disabilities. The report noted that neither Zentgraf, Clopper Mill Elementary, nor Montgomery County Public Schools responded to requests for comment.

The Free Beacon also highlighted past policies of the school district, including an "anti-racist audit" and restrictions on parent access to board meetings discussing gender identity curriculum.

In addition to her comments on male births, Zentgraf allegedly used the acronym "AMERIKKKA" to refer to the U.S. and expressed exclusionary views towards women who sympathize with men, stating she would "almost immediately find a way to say something mean about a man or men in general to figure out whether or not she’s a safe person to be myself around."

Zentgraf's Facebook account was reportedly taken down after The Free Beacon published its report.
