South Carolina Trainer's Cause of Death Revealed

The cause of death for South Carolina personal trainer Elena Moore, 39, has been determined to be natural heart complications stemming from a "full mental crisis," according to Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher. Authorities stated that there was no indication of homicide.

Moore was reported missing on June 11, 2026, after she was last seen at a Planet Fitness in Lexington. Surveillance footage showed her walking toward a wooded area behind a nearby Lowe's Home Improvement store. Her body was discovered on June 17, several days after her disappearance. Neighbors had reported observing unusual behavior from Moore in the week preceding her vanishing.

Fisher confirmed that the manner of death was natural and that the investigation did not uncover any evidence to suggest foul play. Moore's death was attributed to complications of cardiac dysrhythmia with premature ventricular contractions.
