A South Carolina man has been arrested on charges of intent to defraud game tickets after allegedly stealing lottery scratch-offs during a job interview. Antonio Levon Ricardo Stewart was taken into custody following the incident at a Murphy USA gas station in Florence on May 6, 2025.

According to a warrant, Stewart took several scratch-off tickets while being interviewed for a position at the gas station. He then proceeded to three other locations, attempting to cash six of the stolen tickets. Authorities reported that only one of the tickets was a winner, valued at $5.

Stewart was booked into the Florence County jail and later released on a $5,000 bond on August 26, 2026. He faces three counts of intent to defraud game tickets. Stewart could not be reached for comment.
