Haze Brown, the 2-year-old son of former Brigham Young University (BYU) football star Curtis Brown and his wife, Kim, died in a drowning accident, according to a fundraiser created for the family. Haze was described as the couple's "miracle baby."

The GoFundMe page, established by friends and family, aims to raise $100,000 to cover funeral expenses and other unforeseen costs, allowing the family to focus on healing. As of Wednesday, the fundraiser had garnered over $71,000.

Curtis Brown is recognized as one of BYU's most accomplished running backs. During his college career from 2002 to 2006, he amassed 3,218 career rushing yards, setting a school record at the time. He earned first-team All-Mountain West Conference honors in 2005 and 2006 after consecutive seasons with over 1,000 rushing yards. After college, Brown signed with the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2007.

The Brown family resides in Clovis, California, and includes five children: Trey, triplets Cruze, Julie, and Kash, and the late Haze. The family has not publicly commented on the incident. Details surrounding the drowning accident have not yet been released.
